Khmer cuisine (Khmer: សិល្បៈខាងធ្វើម្ហូបខ្មែរ, more generally known as Cambodian cuisine, typically consists of more than one dish and ideally contrasts flavors, textures and temperatures within the meal using plenty of fresh herbs, leaves, pickled vegetables, dipping sauces, edible flowers and other garnishes and condiments.

Together with our experienced Executive Chef, you will be given the opportunity to cook, learn and sample exactly how to create the appetizing cuisines that are loved by so many, locally and abroad. With our Khmer Cooking Class Experience & Village Sunset tour, let us take you on a unique and memorable culinary journey with memorable experiences.
Market Tour : 9:00am-10:30am
You will then be taken on a guided trip to the local market to explore and find the best ingredients for your chosen recipes, from the salad to the main course, and of course, dessert! There you will enjoy the hustle and bustle of the local markets as you are immersed in the culture of everyday life here in Cambodia.
Cooking Class: 12:00pm- 2:30pm
After the market tour, you will head back to the hotel and start cooking! Our experienced chef will guide you through each step in creating the perfect Khmer dish and you will discover unique flavors, methods and create a delicious 3 course Khmer set menu. Once completed, you will then relax and enjoy your creations by our beautiful salt water pool. We will then present you with a cooking class certificate of completion to take home and share with all of your family and friends as well as the recipes you have created.
Countryside Village Tour: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Once you have enjoyed your delicious meal, you will then be taken on a guided tour of the local villages to see some of where the food and ingredients you have cooked typically come from. You will see rural markets, rice paddocks and vegetable farms and also meet some of the villagers and see how they live on a daily basis. From there you will be taken to a great spot of the countryside where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset with a cold drink.
Relax and Reflect: 7:00pm
After a memorable journey exploring new flavors, landscapes and cultures, you will then head back to the hotel and enjoy a relaxing traditional one hour Khmer foot massage to end the day.
